Annie Lennox
| Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox attended the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student and the flautist piano for three years. Lennox survived off an allowance for students as well as working part-time in order to earn a living. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability when compared with her peers and was contemplating a different route she could take. Lennox started out as a flute-player within the band Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. The singer was lead vocalist for The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. They met Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began work on Diva in 1992, her debut solo album. The album was hugely successful both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo was released in the month of October 2014. included Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites blues and soul from the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on May 19, 2019. It is a collection consisting of four tracks that were improvised. This E.P. Her first solo album in conjunction with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25th 1954. The Tourists were a new-wave group who had some recognition in the 1970s.
